An excellent crafted and manufactured piece of equipment. Well and elegantly designed easy to fit, though a professional plumber would be recommended (if like me age has taken its toll and lying on your back under the kitchen sink is not to be encouraged also the lack of the right tools) to fit the mixer tap. But having said that a competent DIY enthusiast should have little problem in fitting it. It has been in constant use over the pass two years with no problems and no signs of leaks or wear on the internal rings. that I have experienced with cheaper though almost identical looking designs. It occasionally works loose just above the taps due to the movement of swinging the arm between the sinks but this can be corrected by finger tightening the nut. Would I recommend this to friends YES without hesitation. Good value for money.

The Tre Mercati French Classic Mixer Tap is fitted with ¼ turn ceramic heads.
Ian Asked :Is the Tre Mercati tap MFC code 194 a realistic alternative to the Astracast Camargue to fit a modern Carron stainless steel sink? Does the Mercati use conventional tap washers, please? Is it recommended to use an extra bracket to give stability to the tap, as per Camargue? Thanks.
Unfortunately, this is a single bracket; it would not be possible to have an extra. We can also confirm that this has conventional tap washers as opposed to ceramic disk
Mark Asked :Hi, Could you tell me what size o-ring I would need for my Tre Mercati french classic brass plated mono sink mixer tap? Many thanks, Mark
