FAQ's
- Why is an end or front panel used on a bath?
It is a decorative fixture placed along the sides of a bathtub. They hide concealed pipes, plumbing and the bath's underside. It gives your bath a streamlined look. They are aesthetically appealing and are used for protective purposes from splash, dust and general bathroom moisture.
- Do these panels available across the UK come in a standard size?
No, as these are designed to fit various baths, they are not offered in a standard size. They are available in different widths & heights. However, the majority of panels at our online store are available to cater to standard size baths (i.e., 1700mm or 1800mm Bath lengths). Apart from the straight shaped panels, we also offer:
Curved Panels (Ideal for Shower or Corner Baths)
L-Shaped Panels (Ideal for Shower Baths)Before selecting, it's crucial to measure the front of the bath for the main panel & the end of the bath for the end panel.
- What are the common materials available at QS for front & end panels?
They are made of premium materials, including MDF, MFC, acrylic and PVC. Both acrylic and PVC are water resistant, lightweight and are easy to clean and maintain. On the other hand MDF & MFC are often chosen for their more solid, furniture-style finish and premium appearance.
- Will an end or front panel from QS Supplies fit my bathtub?
Yes, fitting any of our panels, be it a front or an end panel, to your bath will not be an issue. These are designed to suit various bath shapes. You can review the product measurements and specifications listed on our site before making a purchase, as some panels may need minor trimming or adjustment during fitting.
