ideal Standard Trevi exposed Thermostatic Shower valve.
Great Service from QS. This is the second Trevi I have ordered from them. Ordered on standard delivery but was delivered next day. I have several of these showers on site, originally installed 15 years ago, and only had to replace 2 quite recently. These showers are used many times daily in our fitness suite shower rooms. I have now started to replace "Alterna" showers with the Trevi, as the Alternas keep failing. The Trevi showers are ideal for busy commercial shower rooms. The look good too.

Great product
Very easy to use although we had to get the plumber back to reset the factory water temperature setting which was set at a cooler temperature and designed to avoid scalds in care homes. Now deliciously hot and makes showering a luxury. Highly recommend.

Cindy Asked :
I am replacing the older version, in theory, it should be just a straight swop, isn't it??

Answered By QS Team :
Yes, that is correct the A3101AA is still a current model and has not changed throughout the years

Tom Asked :
What is the minbar pressure needed for this range of taps to work on and what is the delivery rate-ie ltr/min at say 0.2-0.3 bar. In other words, will they work reasonably well on a low tank fed system as thermostatic taps tend to be for medium pressure and more... Thanks, Tom Badstevener

Answered By QS Team :
It requires 0.1 Bar minimum (5 Ltrs Per Minute)

Darren Asked :
Hi I installed this valve on an unbalanced system Soon it started making a groaning sound and pushing water into the cold water tank I fitted a non return valve on the hot side and now the pressure is down to a dribble ?

Answered By QS Team :
The CTV showers already come with non-return valves fitted. In the exposed they are in the elbows. Remove the extra one you have fitted and investigate the one in the elbow. It may have some debris in it and that could hold it open and also vibrate creating noise. For installation instructions PDF, refer this url -

Glynn Asked :
I have an Ideal standard Trevi CTV thermostatic built-in shower valve, when I turn the dial to get more hot water it is only coming out aired, is there a way of setting the valve to get more hot water coming out? Thanks, Glynn

Answered By QS Team :
If the water is coming out aerated, the manufacturer recommends checking the system for air. We have uploaded the fitting instructions PDF in the technical tab, which covers calibration and temperature settings. Minimum hot water temperature to supply the CTV should be above 55°C before calibrating.
