This is a lovely tap, heavy, good quality, and the box it came in was undamaged. However, the tap was not secured inside the box or properly wrapped up. It was just lying on top of a thin bubble wrap bag, so there was room for it to move around inside the box. Probably due to this, in transit, one of the small knobs has broken off the hot tap control, so I have emailed support@qssupplies to request collection of the broken tap and a full refund. Disappointing. I think that if the item had been better packaged, it would have arrived in one piece.
Seem good quality. I bought Bristan because that's what the tap was replacing. Not the cheapest. Stories about them coming loose are a bit worrying. I'll keep an eye on it. I wouldn't risk buying them again.
Replaced our old mixer tap with this one and it is beautiful and at a very good price.
Very easy to fit, looks amazing and good value for the price.

Carol Asked :I have an old water tank in the loft and a hot water cylinder downstairs in the living room next to the kitchen. I bought a new tap suitable for high and low-pressure (max bar 5), but the hot water tap is like a trickle. The plumber advised me to buy British. Is this tap suitable for the type I have, and is the pressure correct?
This model is suitable for systems with mixed pressure above 0.2 bar. As the hot tank is on the ground floor, the hot pressure will be low. I would recommend finding out what the hot pressure is.
