Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.

ClearShield Eco-Glass

Supplied as standard on all AQATA enclosures, doors and screens, the Clearshield Eco-Glass is applied to the inside of the glass and works just like ‘non-stick’ cookware, acting as a protective barrier on the surface of the glass. This coating resists staining from hard water deposits and is eco-friendly for a more hygienic environment. Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.
