Ordered to replace a broken unit. Arrived no problem and was very easy to fit. So far lives up to expectations but the flushing mechanism does seem a bit flimsy, but after a little fiddling works fine, how long it will last only time will tell, but the main parts seem very robust.

This toilet looks really classy - about as pretty as you can get for a loo! The picture doesn't do it justice. Looks really well made. Very happy so far!

Purchased Twyford Alcona toilet from qs supplies and it was delivered the very next day. It was easy to install and is a nice compact toilet, just perfect.

Mike Asked :How is the Alfona cistern flush adjusted from 4/2.6 litre to 6/4 litre
Answered By QS Team :
We have attached the cistern setting instruction file URL
E Asked :I need to replace a vertical/bottom outlet wc. The distance from the wall to the centre of the waste outlet is only 120mm. I want the cistern to fit flush to the back wall, without any gap. I understand that the Twyford Alcona vertical outlet would not fit into this space. Would it be feasible to fit the Twyford Alcona horizontal outlet wc using the McAlpine 90 degree flexible connector?

Refer product codes: QS-V10212 and QS-V10179 or (https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/110499.htm) - (https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/109724.htm). These two models will suit your existing pipework. The distance from the wall to the outlet is 125mm.
Isabelle Asked :Hello, I have a toilet outlet in the floor of a newly refurbished house. The middle of the outlet sits 18mm from the rear wall. I would like to change the toilet. At the moment there is a cabinet toilet with a concealed cistern but I want a "normal" toilet. I think the outlet is too close to the wall to fit the Alcona with the bottom outlet. Do you think the other one copied below will fit with the connector or will it need a "shelf" behind the toilet? I would like to avoid the shelf and would like a clean finish. I don't like nooks and crannies where dust and grime can accumulate. I would love your advice. https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/12839.htm All the best, Isabelle
Answered By QS Team :
Perhaps a Rimless toilet would be ideal. This means that you have the added benefit nowhere for germs and dust to hide in the bowl. The shroud at the back will leave a flat finish against the wall. Whilst the outlet is not exactly 180mm the space in the back will allow the plumber to connect a flexible outlet connection.
