An average a person visits the toilet 2500 times a year or about 6-8 times a day. That’s an unbelievable 3 long years in an average human lifetime, spent in the toilet. And just like all other life experiences, bathroom experiences may be good or bad or in some cases unusual. As bathrooms serve mainly a functional purpose, they are less likely to be places which are fun, amusing or interesting. However, just like everything else, human desire to be unique far outweighs utility and helps carve out some exemplary experiences in the mundane, humble toilet. Not limited to but more likely to be “interesting” are the experiences in public restrooms or toilets, be it in the form of bathroom wall graffiti or crimson toilet paper.
