This is a proper set of taps. The attention to detail, finish (both the visible bits and those that are hidden) and feel are excellent. Fitting: The castings are solid and the threads well-formed and the mating surfaces are smooth and flat. The cartridge action is smooth and the stops at the end of the travel are positive. These factors give you confidence that the joints and fittings will remain leak free (always a worry with concealed taps). The cartridges are accessible from the front, so no need to break up the tiling when they need changing. O-rings abound, so little or no chance of water getting behind the fittings. The 3/4in fittings ensure you bath will be filled at a decent speed which is such a pain with inferior ½ fittings. The shower rose pipe is well made and looks much more substantial than others on the market. Form: The chrome is heavy and the visible sections chunky and solid. The contemporary minimalistic design will compliment a modern suite but would not look out of place in a more traditional bathroom. Function: Almost ¾ turn produces a gushing flow. The action is smooth and no drips when turned off. A swanky set of taps whose action and finish is on a par with designer taps three times the price.
