Ideal for showers that need a simple entry and exit, Aqualux Framed 8 Clear Glass 2000mm Height Sliding Door can be purchased in one of 5 sizes, so its easy to get one for the shower enclosure you are planning to build. It is crafted from durable, toughened safety glass that measures eight millimetres thick and has been given an Aquagleam anti-limescale coating.

This treatment can help prevent limescale or hard water build-up on the glass surface and keep it sparkling clean. The door has a stunning Polished silver finish frame, chrome handles, and a reversible design. It is compatible for use with side panels or within a recess.

Reversible Design

It is a design which allows the product to be fitted either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.
