One the whole, this is a good toilet and has fitted well into a small space. It is used frequently and has been reliable up until recently. There appears to be a problem with the internal microswitch (meaning water slowly flows continuously into the toilet which makes it continuously flush). We have contacted QS support team and are waiting for their response. The other slight issue is that the seat can become loose and needs tightening once a month or so.

We bought an old house where the ground floor toilet had a WC with a separate macerator. It was very noisy, bulky and hard to keep clean, so we decided to replace it with Saniflo Sanicompact Cisternless Ceramic WC With Macerator Pump. It was a perfect choice; small, simple, easy to keep clean and has now functioned perfectly without any problems about a year.

Fitted this three years ago now. It was simple to fit and had transformed a small under stairs cupboard into a very useful toilet. It has performed without any trouble at all. I am a DIY installer and this was well within my capability.

keith Asked :Can the output waste be piped into a storm water drain?
Answered By Arto :
Not as far as I know. To my knowledge toilet waste must go to a sewer.
Answered By peter :
Although I'm not expert in this I am almost certain it would be illegal to do this as sewage waste must usually be sent into a proper sewer with all that that entails. To be certain you could ask a builder who I'm sure would know the answer for certain.
Answered By clifford :
No that would be illegal, it needs to be plumbed into a soil pipe or foul water drainage pipe
