The Bristan Commercial Infrared Automatic Basin Spout is truly modern with its innovative infrared technology. Fully hands-free operation via the built-in infrared sensor means that this spout provides an easy and hygienic wash daily. A strikingly curved angled design for this piece is not just a visual flourish but also ensures convenient placement so that simply placing your hands within the sensing range activates the water flow, which also makes it water-efficient. It is constructed using best quality brass and finished in shiny chrome for a durable and sophisticated looking fitting. Innovation and convenience in one elegant design, this spout can be used with an array of different basins for a unique effect.

I needed to replace some taps of this type and this fitting was easy to fit in the place of the old ones. It is very easy to fit and worked extremely well. It didn't have the quirky works sometimes/doesn't work sometimes characteristics that some taps of this type seem to have. It just worked. Oh and it looks really good.

For Irbs1-Cp. How many seconds will the water turn off once you remove the hand from the Sensor Mixer? And the minute is adjustable or not?

The water on the IRBS1-CP will shut off automatically as soon as the hands are removed. Also, this is not adjustable.

This product is run from mains power. In the event of a power failure, the batteries will override the mains power supply to ensure the spout continues functioning.
