Keith Asked :I have previously submitted a question regarding a dripping tap and how to replace a faulty washer. The taps fitted to my wash basin differ from the one illustrated, as it has a hole on the top of the tap. Is there a screw with which the handle can be removed, and if yes, what type of screw is it, and how can it be removed.
At the back of the handle will be a chrome cap; this needs to be prised off to reveal a grub screw; you will need a 2.5mm Allen Key to remove this screw. Once this is removed, you can pull the handle off. We have also attached the fitting instructions for your preference. Please download it from here.
