WAJDI Asked :Hi. I have 14 Deva sensor taps fitted over the past 12 months. This morning one of them would not turn off. The water ran even when the battery was removed. I had to isolate the water supply. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? Many thanks
Answered By QS Team :
Can we ask if they are fitted in a domestic or commercial setting? If the issue is just with one sensor tap we would recommend swapping the control boxes to see if the problem persists on the others, also is there a clicking sound on the tap when the water is running? If your taps are still under warranty if you could please forward on a copy of your purchase receipt along with a contact name and address to the manufacturer.
Tracy Asked :can you send me a data sheet for your QS-V40840, as I need to provide it to the University for their records?

Please view the attached data sheet: https://images.alt.qssupplies.co.uk/2016-10-13--10-12-7-716.pdf.
Paul Asked :Can you assist us with how we alter the sensor to stay on longer?
Answered By QS Team :
Sorry, the sensor stays on for as long as your hands stay in front of the sensor. Sorry, we misread your previous enquiry.
Paul Asked :We need to adjust water running duration time on the tap; your instructions state that we need to remove the sensor light panel from the mixer body, but we are struggling to remove it. Could you please provide any further instruction/information?
Answered By QS Team :
Thank you for your enquiry. We don’t have any instructions as such, but please follow 1. Take tap of the worktop. 2. Take off the rubber grommet on the bottom. 3. You will see the sensor itself, on the back of the sensor, is a screw that adjusts. 4. Anticlockwise up, clockwise down. Sorry, we hope this helps.
geverson Asked :Two questions about Automatic sensor tap 1 -D sensor1-d 1) I want to know if the water stops running instantaneously when we remove our hand, or it keeps running for a few more seconds? 2) can it be only battery operated?
Answered By QS Team :
Thank you for your enquiry. The tap will shut off once your hand is out of the sensor range and can run off battery only. We hope this helps.
