Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

UKCA Great Britain Mark

Merlyn enclosures now carry the UKCA mark, which stands for UK Conformance Assessment. This mark indicates that the product meets or exceeds GB-designated standards. The UKCA mark is now the standard labelling for products sold in Great Britain (England & Wales & Scotland).

Optional Return Panel

Return panels extend the enclosure's coverage. They are fixed glass panels installed perpendicular to the main enclosure or glass panel. They help minimise water spray, enhance the shower appearance, and provide flexibility with the overall design.
