Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. UKCA Certified

UKCA or the UK Conformity Assessed marking is a mandatory UK product marking for products sold across Great Britain, equivalent to the CE Marking in Europe. UKCA will be used to replace the CE Marking. CE marking will no longer be valid in England, Scotland and Wales except in Northern Ireland from the 1st of January 2021, and the CE mark will stay valid until the 1st of January 2023. A product with UKCA marking shows that the product complies with the UKCA Marking requirements.
