Hello, I'm interested in this product. However, my son is an extremely inquisitive adult with autism. He has little concept of the consequence of his actions. Taps have always been a tricky product for us to find ones that survive his scrutiny. Are you able to confirm whether the large central thermostatic dial actually would unscrew from the plate, or is this not possible? Does it just rotate through a restricted arc between hot and cold?
