I can’t remove screw plates from the grab handle. Help, please.

The screw plates on the grab bar are not removable. However, the skirt that covers the screw plate can be removed. It is held by three small blades on the inside and can be very stiff when holding the skirt on. You will need to force the skirt off of the blades to release it.
