Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It is not a side panel; it is a return screen that is fitted to the front glass panel only.

What are the dimensions of the fixing bracket? I can't see the fixing detail on the images. We have a support arm on our existing panel, which is an 8mm panel. I want to be sure the support arm won't interfere with fitting this extension. I don't know the brand of our shower screen.

Nuie screens are only 8mm thick, so, unfortunately, they will not fit a 10mm shower panel.

My shower wall already has a bracket arm, I’m hoping this return panel can be fitted using only silicon, and I can keep the pre-existing bracket arm. Does the 300mm return panel need to be used with the supplied /pictured bracket arm?

The return panel needs to be fitted using the push-fit v seal and silicone. The support arm doesn't have to be used; however, we do recommend this for extra support.
