Is this radiator suitable for vented systems?

A vented system is fine, but a "Direct" or "Open" circuit would not be due to the regular ingress of oxygen which would cause any mild steel unit to rust from within. If you are in any way uncertain though, any unit made from stainless steel or brass will allay your concerns.
