Andre Asked :Dear ladies and gentlemen, Is it necessary to put the cistern up so high? Or is it possible to have it on 2,20m?
Answered By QS Team :
A cistern can be put as low as 1625mm by cutting the flush pipe down.
bruce Asked :My client really wants to use the Burlington high-level cistern and pull chain/rod fittings etc. we have an absolute maximum storey height in the room she wants to use it in 2205mm. Can we shorten the pipework from the cistern to the WC pan to suit even though it gives a maximum and minimum height that is only 60mm different?
Answered By QS Team :
The high level can be cut down to 1625mm overall height, so this will work.
steven Asked :Can any of the traditionally high-level toilet and cisterns flush pipe kits be cut down so the installation height can be lowered? I have a maximum of 2005mm from the floor to the top of the cistern. Thank you
Answered By QS Team :
We can confirm that the Burlington high-level WC flush pipe can be cut down from the bottom of the pipework's top piece. This can be cut down to 15cm; however, you need to ensure that you seal the connection when connecting the two pipes.
