Air Vent

An air vent or a radiator air valve or bleed valve, is a small part of the radiator. Its role is to release trapped air or gases from inside the radiator, keeping the appliance heating efficiently and evenly. An Air vent can be an automatic air vent or manually opened to release air and are made of metal or plastic.

BTU Output

It is the short form of a British thermal unit (BTU or Btu) and is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit. It is a standard unit against which radiator efficiency is measured.
