Vitreous-China Material

Vitreous china is an innovative glass-based enamel coating applied to porcelain. This glazed coating makes the base material durable, denser, and very glossy. When ceramics are coated with vitreous enamel, the resulting product is called vitreous china. This enamel is created by applying heat to powdered glass.

UKCA Certified

UKCA or the UK Conformity Assessed marking is a mandatory UK product marking for products sold across Great Britain, equivalent to the CE Marking in Europe. UKCA will be used to replace the CE Marking. CE marking will no longer be valid in England, Scotland and Wales except in Northern Ireland from the 1st of January 2021, and the CE mark will stay valid until the 1st of January 2023. A product with UKCA marking shows that the product complies with the UKCA Marking requirements.

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called 'without-overflow' and will need a compatible drain.
