Optional: Demister/Heated Pad

Can the demister pad be fitted to the HIB Jazz after the mirror has been fitted? This mirror is already installed in our bathroom, but we omitted to buy the demister pad, can it be bought separately?

The Jazz Mirror will accommodate a D1 Demista pad (OP-32539), which can be added to your mirror and should lift off the wall brackets.

In terms of the optional demista pad, how does this operate? Does it require mains power? Is it attached to the mirror? Can it be removed?
