FAQ's
- How do QS Supplies' round mirrors enhance space in compact bathrooms?
QS Supplies offers round mirrors in framed, frameless, non-lit, & illuminated versions. Our exclusive collection of circular mirrors softens the geometry of a small room, helping create a sense of visual flow around them, creating the illusion of a more expansive space. Illuminated mirrors reflect light to create the illusion of depth and continuity, opening up the space with brightness. The non-lit mirror with a decorative frame adds a stylish touch even for compact bathrooms.
- Which round mirror finishes are most popular at QS Supplies?
We at QS Supplies offer mirrors in different finishes, such as brushed brass, black, chrome, gold, nickel, and many more. Of all the finishes in framed models, chrome is the most common, preferred for its timeless appeal, compatibility with bathroom fixtures, and easy availability. It is compatible with both traditional and modern styles and is cost-effective compared to off-beat finishes of brass or black.
- Are round mirrors suitable for mounting on tiled or uneven walls?
With key points in mind, you can easily mount round mirrors on tiled or uneven walls. To avoid the tiles breaking, you will need to use a low-pressure masonry drill bit with the following fixings:
- Wall plugs or rawl plugs, made for use with tiles
- Mirror screws with rubber grommets
- Toggle or expansion bolts for firm fixing of heavier models
For Uneven Walls, we suggest:
- Wall plugs or toggle bolts are compatible with the mirror's weight.
- For a flush fit, use spacers or washers behind mounting points.
- Some installations may require a backing board (like plywood) before fixing the mirror.
Before you begin, it's important to check the weight rating of the fixings and align the mirror with a spirit level.
- Do round mirrors suit all vanity sizes, or is there a recommended width ratio?
Installing Round mirrors with a rectangular or curved vanity unit of almost any width creates a lovely contrast. However, to prevent a visual imbalance, it is best to find a compatible mirror smaller than the vanity by about 60–75%. In other words, the mirror should be about two-thirds to three-quarters the width of the vanity.
A pair of round mirrors would be a better choice for a double basin vanity unit. Installing them above each of the sink offers a symmetrical and a balance look. If you prefer a large vanity unit, opt for a frameless model.
