The Flavel Rhapsody Plus Slide Control Open Fronted Gas Fire is available for purchase in an array of lovely finish options and features a full-depth coal fuel effect. Offering both radiant and convective heat to enjoy, this product is created to be used with a class 1 brick chimney, a class 2 prefabricated flue or a pre-cast flue. Boasting a 4.2kW direct heat output and fueled via natural gas, this model also includes slide control in order to eliminate the need for the user to bend down in order to control it. An open-fronted high-efficiency unit that makes a gorgeous addition to any modern or traditional room layout.

Specification of Brick Chimney - Class 1:.
Apart from products designed for “no chimney” applications, all Flavel products will fit brick chimneys. They are easily recognisable by a chimney stack with an accompanying terracotta pot or gas terminal.
Specification of Pre-Fabricated Flue - Class 2:.
Pre-fabricated flues are easily identifiable by a metal flue, terminal on the roof, and a metal flue box behind the fire.
Specification of Pre-Cast flue:.
Pre-cast flues can be identified by a ridge vent or metal flue tube and terminal on the roof. Constructed from concrete or clay blocks, they form a rectangular section flue. All Flavel fires featuring this icon are only suitable for Pre-Cast chimneys conforming to BS EN 1858.
