The Geberit AquaClean Mera Comfort 395 x 590mm Toilet And SoftClose Seat is available in both a white alpine and chrome finish options and comes in a somewhat compact size that fits in perfectly to nearly any bathroom layout, anywhere. A unit that includes the toilet itself as well as a soft-close seat that even features a touchless opening lid, this product was created for wall-mounted installation and comes with the fastening material required to do so securely.

Rimless

A rimless toilet does not have a brim at its edge, from which the water usually flows when you flush. Instead of flowing from the top, such toilets shoot water towards its edge and around it, allowing no missing spots with filth remaining after a flush. These toilets also remove any spaces for germs to hide and breed, providing a hygienic alternative for your bathroom.

Orientation Light

It is a motion-sensitive LED light included with the Geberit system. It is built into the unit, so it turns on automatically when you approach it. This gentle beam is bright enough to help you find your way and makes your night-time bathroom trip a pleasant experience. You can further customise the settings, making the lights bright or dim based on your preference.

Horizontal Outlet

When the pan has piping at the back, inside the wall, it is called a horizontal outlet toilet or pan. As the cisterns are concealed or placed against the wall, most plumbing is hidden out of sight.

Mains-Operated

Mains-operated devices work on electricity by plugging into electrical wall sockets. These require higher electrical energy and can't be operated using batteries as small batteries can't power the device. Large, non-portable electrical appliances are typically mains operated.

Intuitive Remote Control

The Geberit shower toilets can be operated simply and intuitively using the remote control. Easy to use, users can select their respective profiles from the stored user's settings and can then access their preferred spray arm position, oscillating spray or spray intensity setting. It can be screwed or fastened to the wall without cables. Alternatively, these functionalities can also be accessed with the manufacturer's Home App, specially made for these toilets.

Whirlspray Technology

The WhirlSpray technology integrated with Geberit shower toilets ensures gentle, thorough cleaning using a double water jet. The pulsating spray offers outstanding comfort, incorporating air and hot water at a constant temperature with a continuous flow heater.

Turbo Flush

The TurboFlush technology is a particular ultra-quiet feature of the Geberit toilet design. After flushing the toilet, water flows laterally into the unit and through the interior in a spiral way, and the flow is guided for optimal hygiene.

WC Seat Heating

The ergonomic seat is made of high-quality Duroplast. It has an integrated heating element, which activates automatically and warms it with the help of a built-in proximity sensor. The WC Seat heating function with temperature adjustment adds further comfort in use.

Vitreous-China Material

It is a compound of glass and silica-based materials applied as a coat on porcelain products such as WC pans, urinals, baths and basins to protect them from scratches and stains as an anti-vandal measure.

Soft-Close Seat

Soft-closing seats are a new alternative to classic toilet seats. Their modern design allows them to close slowly, while their controlled manner of closing does not require you to assist them. It also shuts automatically, allowing it to come down at a pace that does not make much noise.

Since visiting Japan many years ago, I wondered when smart toilets would catch on in the UK. As well ensuring a high level of personal hygiene, the Gebrerit also keeps itself very clean. The design is modern and minimalist, and we love surprising guests who expect just a basic loo and have a 5* experience instead. The Mera is a real quality product, and every part feels well-designed and well-made. These really need to become standard everywhere, and I would highly recommend to anyone considering to go ahead and do it
