This waste is chrome on brass. Produced by Deva part of Methven Group. It is the standard British Imperial 1 1/4 inch basin waste. The flange shiny metal collar in the basin that the water goes through is 2 7/16 inches. Most wastes sold today have 60mm flange. If you use a waste with a 60mm flange on any restored, reclaimed or genuine replica basin 1980 or earlier there will be a gap which the plumber will bodge with silicone and which is likely to leak. Shame about the cheap steel ball chain on chrome coated brass plug. Proper chrome on brass chain would be authentic.
