We have attached the fitting instructions, which you can download it from here:
Stephanie Asked :Good afternoon, I see you have answered another customer that it is recommended not to use a leg set with this shower tray. We are looking to purchase this but may need to raise it by building plinths. Is it all right to do that? Regards, Stephanie
Answered By QS Team :
Simpsons do not offer any tray kits to be able to raise the tray anymore. However, as long as the whole tray is fully supported by the sand and cement and the waste area, it is supported correctly, then it should be fine to use a riser kit.
Marie Asked :Hi, Does the Simpsons 1700 x 800mm Rectangular White Tray (MFC CODE: LN0R81700) come with a non-slip coating?
Answered By QS Team :
This shower tray has got a gel top; it is not an anti-slip tray.
Damian Asked :I’m interested in the Simpson1000mm rectangular tray with linear waste and wondered if the tray can be raised on a leg set and how deep the waste comes down from the bottom of the tray and can the waste connect to standard 40mm pipe? Many thanks Damian
Answered By QS Team :
The waste goes down 90mm and yes it can be connected to a 40mm pipe. With regards to a leg set, it is not recommended that it is fitted that way.
David Asked :From the previous question, I can see that the waste must leave on the left-hand side of the tray. In my shower cubical, the left-hand side has restricted headroom, so can the waste be at the far end and the shower be installed at the other end, where there is the full head height? I like this tray look as the height is only 25mm, and the waste can cope with a fast water flow. However, having the shower at one end and the waste at the other may be a problem?
Answered By QS Team :
The waste will have to be situated at the same end like the shower. I hope this helps.
