Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

It was installed quickly enough, despite me having also to fit the additional extension profile. I like that the hinge is about 10cm from the edge of the door so that the sweep of the door swing is reduced, and the door can also open against the towel rail, which is obviously the wall part. The door handles are a bit plasticky, but apart from that, I'm really happy with it. Plus, QS Supplies handled an issue with excellent efficiency and courtesy, even though the problem was my fault. Top marks for them

When I ordered this door for the guest room shower my main criteria was price and this was the cheapest I could find online and half the cost of any doors available locally. It arrived very quickly, was well packed and looked great. It took me half an hour to fit and was very easy. It's a quality bit of kit for an absolute rock bottom price. I couldn't be more pleased and have recommended it too several friends already.

Although the door looks excellent in the picture, I haven't received it as it's out of stock, as I'm not going to get the door until the 3rd week of August my Plumber has been put back a week, which is a right pain with my wife moaning all the time I hope I still get the chance of the holiday.

I have a 770mm wide opening. Can you confirm which size I would need? Is it 800mm in width? I just wasn't sure if it fits.

You will require 800mm width. The door adjustment is at a minimum of 760mm and a maximum of 790mm. So 800mm size would fit the gap of 770mm.
