My wife's hip replacement operation promoted a new Vitra toilet replacement for the existing Vitra. All though the Vitra close coupled was not the cheapest on the market QS was very competitive so went for it. Fitted it my self , with a friends help in lifting it into the correct position. All the parts were there including the seat. We are now high and waiting on the operation. Many Thanks. Alexander
Not in a position to place a review as installation hasn't taken place yet. But from what I can see, it's quite a 'throne'. However, delivery and service was second to none. Thank you QS.

john Asked :What does "open back" mean? Where is the water connection?
Open back means that the base of the pan is open, which means that the waste pipe is visible, whereas back to the wall means that the waste pipe is hidden.
Rob Asked :Is the VitrA S50 comfort height a rimless flush?
Unfortunately, this WC Pan is not rimless.
Helen Asked :Does the Vitra S50 have a dual flush? And which soft-close toilet seat is recommended for this product?
These are dual flush 3/6 litres, and the soft close seat to go with that pan would be a 72-003-309, which is available as an option in the product.
Keith Asked :Where is the water inlet to the cistern? My current toilet has a water inlet on the right-hand side of the cistern.
The inlet is on the left-hand side of the pan, as you look at it from the bottom.
Steve Asked :Hello, I am interested in the Comfort Height Vitra S50 Close Coupled Toilet. My waste projection comes up from the floor some 75mm with approximately 200mm from the wall to the front of the waste pipe. I need some clearance at floor level so the pan doesn’t foul the waste pipe before the cistern mounts on the wall.
Please download the attached technical data sheet for this pan which shows you need an outlet position from the wall of around 175-260mm to the centre of the outlet, so given the dimension, you have given, this open-back version will suit your needs and not the full-back to wall type.
