So can you swap the head on this or not? One answer says yes, but another says it can't be removed for cleaning. Is the wall mount fixed to the pipe, or can it move up/down the pipe?

Yes, you can swap the head, but it will void the warranty. The wall mounts are fixed and cannot be moved.
