All Merlyn Series range products are subjected to the Mershield Stayclear glass protection that keeps the glass looking clear. It decelerates the build-up of lime scale and soap deposits, making cleaning an absolute breeze. The coatings' smooth surface does not allow any grime, dirt or water to stick easily, keeping it pristine.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Reversible Door

A reversible door can be fit to open either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

Merlyn enclosures now carry the UKCA mark, which stands for UK Conformance Assessment. This mark indicates that the product meets or exceeds GB-designated standards. The UKCA mark is now the standard labelling for products sold in Great Britain (England & Wales & Scotland).

CE Certified Product

CE mark meets the prescribed safety, health and environmental protection requirements and all appropriate EU requirements. This mark is mandatory for products designed, made and sold in the European Economic Area.

Concealed Fixing

Concealed fixings provide a method of installation where screws and brackets are hidden from view. This offers a clean, uncluttered look and enhances the overall aesthetic of the bathroom.

Frameless

As the name implies, shower doors or bath screens with minimal framing in the design are called frameless. As the enclosure is mostly glass, it can offer a clear view into your shower to highlight features that need attention, such as tiling, shower columns or other components. Aesthetically stunning, these are generally made of very thick safety glass.

Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.
