From the pictures, it would appear to be unslotted, is this correct? Also, is it click-clack? On that note, I've seen waste being described as a push to open, isn't that the same as click-clack?

It is a universal waste and comes in two halves with a long screw to connect the two together. It will work on both slotted and unslotted basins, and it is a clicker plug.
