Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

I ordered this by mistake, as I should have bought a by-fold door instead. When I noticed the error, I contacted qs supplies asking if I could send the bi-fold and if they could take this one away on the same trip; however, they didn't offer me any help, so I got stuck with this or a costly delivery to return the item. That said, it looks decent and closes nicely. I haven't used it much, so I can't tell you how easy it is to clean it, but it serves its purpose well.
