What fitting does the 'under the bath' end of the hose screw into?

The hose that comes as part of this assembly has a 1/2-inch female connection on one end for connecting to a hand shower. The other end has a 3/8-inch male thread. It would connect to the supply pipework with an adapter with a 3/8-inch female connection on one side.

This would work well with any of Grohe concealed valves. Any of the concealed smart control valves would be fine.

The recommended hole size is 28mm, and the maximum worktop thickness is 45 mm.

Unfortunately, Grohe doesn't manufacture a base box for this product. The hose is passed through the open hole of the holder. The is no spring or mechanism for auto retraction.
