Do the bars move? One of the images looks like the bars can be moved in a swivel motion. Also. Will this product work with an electric switch?

Yes, the bars can swivel 180° both ways. These will be wired into an isolator switch.

We bought this towel radiator last year and have just installed it; however, it is too hot to touch - so hot it could cause a severe burn. Does this sound normal for this product? Is it thermostatically controlled? We have turned it off as it seemed dangerous.
