The Merlyn Ionic Express 1 Door Quadrant Shower Enclosure 900 x 1900mm is an easily adjustable unit that comes with a unique ionic fast fit system and can be adjusted up to 20mm per wall profile. Constructed from 6mm toughened safety glass, this product is also professionally coated with a Mershield Stayclear Easy Clean glass coating that makes cleaning and maintaining this unit smooth and easy. CE approved and arriving at you with the rollers pre-assembled onto the unit itself, this enclosure also includes concealed fixings, magnetic closing and top cover caps.

Mershield Stayclear Coating

All Merlyn Series range products are subjected to the Mershield Stayclear glass protection that keeps the glass looking clear. It decelerates the build-up of lime scale and soap deposits, making cleaning an absolute breeze. The coatings' smooth surface does not allow any grime, dirt or water to stick easily, keeping it pristine.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Reversible Design

It is a design which allows the product to be fitted either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

Magnetic Closing

Universal magnetic seals equipped with powerful magnets, used in shower doors and drawers, allow the door to be closed with a watertight and airtight seal and are easy to open. This feature is available in furniture, shower enclosures and more. Typically made with magnets and strong metal, these come with adhesive backing or can be applied with glue, contact adhesive, silicone glue or double-stick tape, depending on your selected product.

Quick Release Rollers

Some shower door runners have a quick-release mechanism on the runners for fast release of the doors or panels for easy cleaning of the enclosure.

UKCA Great Britain Mark

Merlyn enclosures now carry the UKCA mark, which stands for UK Conformance Assessment. This mark indicates that the product meets or exceeds GB-designated standards. The UKCA mark is now the standard labelling for products sold in Great Britain (England & Wales & Scotland).

Concealed Fixing

Concealed fixings provide a method of installation where screws and brackets are hidden from view. This offers a clean, uncluttered look and enhances the overall aesthetic of the bathroom.

Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.

Framed Glass

When the door comes with framing around itself and each panel, it is called a Framed model. It provides structure and stability to the glass of the enclosure and can be selected to complement it or other fixtures. The most significant advantage of these models is the price and an easy installation method.

Top Cover Cap

A Ductless element used to conceal and hide fitting's ends or edges for a professionally installed neat look. It is also protective in function.
