Finish off the look of your modern shower area with the beautiful Merlyn Ionic Essence Framed Sliding Door. The framed sliding shower door is made entirely out of 8mm toughened safety glass that won't easily succumb to scratch or impact damage. The door can be fitted to be opened on either the right or the left side of the shower for your convenience. No matter which way you choose to install the product, it comes with concealed fixings that further its minimalistic appeal. It measures a total of 1900 millimetres in height and comes in your choice of available sizes.

Available in 5 Different Widths: 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1700mm.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Framed Glass

When the door comes with framing around itself and each panel, it is called a Framed model. It provides structure and stability to the glass of the enclosure and can be selected to complement it or other fixtures. The most significant advantage of these models is the price and an easy installation method.

Reversible Design

It is a design which allows the product to be fitted either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

Mershield Stayclear Coating

All Merlyn Series range products are subjected to the Mershield Stayclear glass protection that keeps the glass looking clear. It decelerates the build-up of lime scale and soap deposits, making cleaning an absolute breeze. The coatings' smooth surface does not allow any grime, dirt or water to stick easily, keeping it pristine.

UKCA Great Britain Mark

Merlyn enclosures now carry the UKCA mark, which stands for UK Conformance Assessment. This mark indicates that the product meets or exceeds GB-designated standards. The UKCA mark is now the standard labelling for products sold in Great Britain (England & Wales & Scotland).

Quick Release Rollers

Some shower door runners have a quick-release mechanism on the runners for fast release of the doors or panels for easy cleaning of the enclosure.

CE Certified Product

Concealed Fixing

Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.
