The Crosswater Rectangular 45mm Stone Resin Low-Level Tray is a sleek, simple and remarkably versatile unit available in a vast array of size options to fit the space in your shower area best. Featuring a bright white finish and anti-bacterial properties, this product is easy to clean, and you don't have to worry about bacterial growth between cleanings. Designed for direct-to-the-floor or raised installation, this unit also comes with a 90mm high-flow waste that drains water quickly and prevents overflow over the side of the product. Suitable to use with sliding shower doors, pivot doors or a walk-in shower enclosure.

It says, "Direct to the floor or raised installation application on each tray". Does this mean the rear of the tray is flat, and no sand and cement are required to install on a wood floor? Obviously, we would still use a suitable modern adhesive.

For installation direct to the floor, it is recommended to use a 5:1 sand and cement sub-base. For more information, please see the attached installation guide.

Please give me the dimensions from the edge of the tray to the centre of the waste hole (as I want to make sure it will clear any floor beams). Also, what are the installation instructions for this tray? The tray I am looking at is the Simpson 1400 x 900.
