Can this basin sit ON a worktop, or can it sit IN a worktop (i.e. I would have to make a cut-out), please?

It is a furniture basin that gets attached to the wall. This basin cannot sit on a worktop. We do have a basin from Duravit; this basin is unglazed underneath and is designed to sit on a flat work surface or worktop. The furniture basin is to be used with the Duravit furniture only. We suggest that you look at QS-V24807, which can be wall-mounted or used with a semi-pedestal.
