Battery Operated

Unlike large gadgets, which cannot move as they are connected to the mains system, Battery operated devices are smaller and have the advantage of portability. Battery-powered devices need recharging or replacements once the power has run out.

High Water Pressure

Water systems operating at 1.0 bar or higher pressure are considered high-pressure systems. Products usually come labelled if they are suitable to use under such pressure.

Mains-Operated

Mains-operated devices work on electricity by plugging into electrical wall sockets. These require higher electrical energy and can't be operated using batteries as small batteries can't power the device. Large, non-portable electrical appliances are typically mains operated.

Flow Regulator

As the name suggests, a flow regulator is a simple device designed to regulate water flow to a predetermined level. The job of a flow regulator is to stop water wastage. For instance, if the regular flow rate through a tap is 20 litres per minute, a flow regulator can reduce the flow rate between 6 to 12 litres per minute to complete the desired chore without feeling low pressure.
