Fireclay

It is incredibly hard-wearing and has an everlasting shiny surface. They have a high heat resistance (1600°C) and are chemical resistant, non-porous, and hygienic.

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called “without overflow” and will need a compatible drain.

BS EN 14688 Standard

It is a European Standard relating to sanitary appliances. BS EN 14688 specifies the functional features and test methods for domestic use washbasins. The standard provides the requirements of characteristics and test methods for basin manufacture, performance, and safety.

I see that you can customise this item to add a brass waste or a bottle waste, but what does it come with as standard or is it just the basin? I'm not sure from the description details what is included or if I need to buy any fittings for the bottom of the basin.

The washbasin is mounted on the countertop using the bracket screwed to the underside. Joints can be sealed with a waterproof sealant, which is not provided with this product. Tap, Waste, and Trap are not included with the basin.
