Horizontal Outlet

When the pan has piping at the back, inside the wall, it is called a horizontal outlet toilet or pan. As the cisterns are concealed or placed against the wall, most plumbing is hidden out of sight.

Washdown Model

A washdown toilet uses the weight of the water and gravity to push out the toilet waste from the toilet bowl. A washdown model includes a push-button flush and has a skirted design with a smaller water surface area and a short trapway and can easily handle heavy loads without getting clogged.
