Does this bowl come with a chrome 'pop-up' waste, or is it necessary to buy this separately? Could I also ask about a suitable ordinary plastic trap?

Pop-up waste is not included. You would have to purchase one as a separate item. It doesn't specify that a particular trap is required so that any trap can be used.
