The Merlyn 6 Series Sliding Door and Inline Panel will give your bathroom a stylish feel and updated look at an affordable cost. By opting for a sliding mechanism, this unit does not require any surrounding space as a pivoting door would require, allowing the user to make the best possible use of the available dimensions. The Mershield Stayclear coating provides extra durability and prevents the build-up of soap scum and limescale. It is reversible and ready to use with a right or left-handed opening. It incorporates quick release double easy clean rollers which make it simple to clean and maintain. It is supplied with double handles fitted inside and outside due to its sliding aspect, affording ease of operation.

Mershield Stayclear Coating

All Merlyn Series range products are subjected to the Mershield Stayclear glass protection that keeps the glass looking clear. It decelerates the build-up of lime scale and soap deposits, making cleaning an absolute breeze. The coatings' smooth surface does not allow any grime, dirt or water to stick easily, keeping it pristine.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Reversible Door

A reversible door can be fit to open either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

Adjustable Wall Profile

These refer to the pieces of material that fit the shower door or panel against a wall and can be adjusted to allow for out-of-true walls for a neat and seamless installation. The ability to adjust the side profile gives a perfect fit and makes the installation process easy. Depending on the manufacturer, the profile can be adjusted between 12 to 30mm.

UKCA Great Britain Mark

Merlyn enclosures now carry the UKCA mark, which stands for UK Conformance Assessment. This mark indicates that the product meets or exceeds GB-designated standards. The UKCA mark is now the standard labelling for products sold in Great Britain (England & Wales & Scotland).

CE Certified Product

CE mark meets the prescribed safety, health and environmental protection requirements and all appropriate EU requirements. This mark is mandatory for products designed, made and sold in the European Economic Area.

Magnetic Closing

Universal magnetic seals equipped with powerful magnets, used in shower doors and drawers, allow the door to be closed with a watertight and airtight seal and are easy to open. This feature is available in furniture, shower enclosures and more. Typically made with magnets and strong metal, these come with adhesive backing or can be applied with glue, contact adhesive, silicone glue or double-stick tape, depending on your selected product.
