Bristan ECO BAS3.5 Details

The unobtrusive dark blue water-efficient Flow Limiting Aerator from Bristan comes with an adaptor, to make a huge difference to your water consumption. With a flow-rate capacity of 3.5 litres per minute, the 15mm aerator regulates and aerates the flow to create a cheerful, bubbly effect. Requiring water pressure between 1.0 bar and 5.0 bars, the flow-limiting straighter, is easy-to-install with step-by-step instructions provided on Technical Tab. It is recommended by the Building regulation and the code for sustainable Homes to improve water efficiency.

Suitable to use with appropriate taps and mixers to improve water efficiency.
Limiter flow straighteners aerate the water for a softer non- splashing flow and can be easily retrofitted in a tap spout [dependent on tap/mixer model].

Required minimum 1.0 bar to maximum 5.0 bar water pressure.
Flow limiters accurate +/- 10%.

Does this flow limiter, https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/73825.htm?gclid=CJWy09We1tICFYSfGwodrlwBHQ, fit a Java basin tap? The tap has been in place for about 15 years - still looks good, but I would like to restrict the flow. Is this item just the plastic insert or does it include the chrome part that screws onto the tap?

Thanks for your enquiry. To confirm, the ECO BAS3.5 will not fit into the end of the Java Basin taps. However, what you could do if you wanted to limit the flow, is use the ECO TAP3.5 which you would fit on the tail of the tap instead.
