How to Make a Shower Accessory List
It’s not hard to make a list of things that you need, we often find shopping lists a bit of a doddle, but knowing what you need to create the perfect shower can be a lot harder. This is because we don’t always know what will help us to create that perfect bathroom, which could leave us feeling less than confident.
One of the first things you may want to do is to write a list of those accessories you know you’re going to need. You know you’re likely to need a soap dish, a towel rail and somewhere to place your sponge, shower gel and your towel.
You may also want to decide if you’re going to have enough room for a waterproof radio, or even a set of shower doors. You should also think about your storage needs too as you’ll need to keep towels, and cleaning products somewhere.
The good news is that if you have a shower that currently stands over a bath, you may not need to consider all of the above. Chances are you already have most of the things you need, unless you happen to be remodeling your bathroom.
Here are some of the accessories you may want to add to your list so you remember to buy them:
1) A soap and shampoo dispenser
2) A shower stool if you’re not too good on your feet
3) A mirror that doesn’t fog up when you use your new shower
4) Grab bars that will help you to get a firm grip of the shower doors
5) Free standing shower caddy for shampoo, conditioner, sponges etc
6) A surface to place or somewhere to hang your waterproof radio
7) A sponge rack
A variety of choices
When you start to have a look around for the right accessories for your shower room, you will be faced with a lot of choice. You may not know where to start looking especially if you’ve not decided on your style of shower room before. Have a think about what you would like your shower and the rest of the room to look like. Will it have a nice chrome finish, or are you looking for accessories that add a touch of glamour?
The trouble is there are so many choices that it can make choosing things very hard. This is where you need to give yourself a bit of a helping hand and think about your budget. Knowing how much you can spend on your shower room will help you to narrow your selection down a little bit. Once you’ve done that, think about the style you’re going for as this will also narrow things down for you too.
There may be some new and rather exciting designs out at the moment. These new designs often look quite ‘Off the wall’ and may seem quite unusual, but its styles such as these that don’t tend to stay in fashion very long, and often look quite dated. Try to avoid these trends if you can as you’ll be stuck with them for many more years.
Choose wisely, and you could easily find yourself with a range of shower accessories that complement the whole room quite nicely.
Ok that's the shower done now lets do the bathroom accessories.
