Barry Asked :e802501 I have one of these Wc pans on-site...The horizontal diameter of the internal bore is 80mm...The vertical diameter internal bore is less than 70mm. At the bottom of the outlet internally, there is a 10mm wider a horizontal lip, which I assume will cause a future blockage. Can you explain this, please? Thanks, Barry

Thanks for your query. The lip is to ensure we get the correct water seal in the sump. The Bowl still has to pass all the stringent flush tests, so any blockage problems should be highlighted at that point. The use of the lip is a well-used strategy and one that we have employed many times before.
