Bal Asked :I require a bottom entry cistern - is this suitable?
Answered By QS Team :
So this pan is suitable for a bottom entry cistern. The inlet is located on the right-hand side of the pan.
Graham Asked :I am trying to install a Minerva close coupled WC, and the sealing gasket between the cistern and the pan is just a squidgy sponge which does not stretch enough to cover the flush valve fixing nut, is this correct? I had assumed it would have been supplied with a doughnut washer or similar; please confirm/advise.

M Asked :How do I tighten lid hinges that have come loose
Answered By QS Team :
Under the chrome cover caps that your seat sits on, some screws fix it to your seat. If these are tightened, your seat should be sturdy again.
Betty Asked :On inspection, this pan (Minerva close-coupled) appears to be suitable for my difficult situation where the soil pipe is on the floor. The soil pipe centre is 250-260mm from the wall, which means that many close-coupled WCs will cover up at least half the soil pipe opening! The Minerva construction appears to have enough space at the back for a special S fitting where the soil is directed towards the toilet pan to put it further from the wall than the horizontal pipe from the toilet.
