This looks great on the internet and when you get it but when you pick it up it is just a piece of plastic - not great value for £100

This is the best looking overflow filler that I have seen, but it is just painted plastic.

Kev Asked :I’ve just purchased the ab2455 bath overflow filler; I’m concerned about the micro-bore flexi hose to feed the unit? Is this big enough for a bath to fill as all other bath taps and assembly have 22mm bore, can I get a second hose to allow hot and cold from either side of unit Thanks
Answered By QS Team :
The product gives a good flow rate, see attached spec sheet under the technical tab above. We don’t supply a second hose as a spare part; however, if you feel the need to use the blanked inlet, then a fitter will do this.
Carole Asked :Hi, Could you please advise what the outlet/waste is made of - plastic/steel/chromed metal? Many thanks.
Answered By QS Team :
The piping on this product is made of plastic, and the outlet/waste is made of a chrome-plated finish. I hope this helps.
Nigel Asked :Hello. Two questions, please...Firstly, Seeing as it says that the filler has two 1/2 water inlets, so you can secede which side to put the inlet valve (presumably from a wall-mounted mixer valve) is there any reason why you couldn't put valve taps on the bath top and run the cold to one inlet and the hot to the other and allow the water to mix as it exists? Secondly, I note it says that it is suitable for low-pressure systems. Can it also be used in high-pressure ones? Thank you.
Answered By QS Team :
The product is just an outlet which is suitable for high pressure. It can also be fed by manual on/off controls x 2 or a single lever mixer control. I hope this helps.
Lindsay Asked :Hi Could you tell me whether this requires separate taps or mixer valve? Thanks,
